Choosing a Member of Parliament for our City is an Important Decision: Elect Wisely.

It is astonishing to realise that we, the people of Jamshedpur have NOT been lucky (or smart) enough to get a good Member Of Parliament in the past 30 years. Here is a list of MPs we have elected in the past :-

   1957: Mohindra Kumar Ghosh, Indian National Congress
   1962: U. Misra, Communist Party of India
   1971: Sardar Swaran Singh Sokhi, Indian National Congress
   1977: R.P. SarangiJanta Party
   1980: R.P. Sarangi, Bharatiya Janata Party
   1984: Gopeshwar, Indian National Congress
   1996: Nitish Bharadwaj, Bharatiya Janata Party
   1998: Abha Mahato, Bharatiya Janata Party
   1999: Abha Mahato, Bharatiya Janata Party
   2004: Sunil Kumar Mahato, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
   2007: Suman Mahato, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
   2009: Arjun Munda, Bharatiya Janata Party

Do any of us remember any of their major accomplishments ?

I guess the answer is No.

So, what do we need to do NEXT ??

Simple, we need to elect a MP, who can do something for this upcoming city and its suburbs.

Our prime choices are :-

1. Mr. Banna Gupta - Congress
2. Dr. Goswami - BJP
3. Dr. Ajoy Kumar - JVM
4. Mr. Sudhir Mahato - JMM
5. Mr. Astik Mahato -  AJSU

We have known all of the above candidates for years. We need to ask ourselves just 2 simple Ques. and the answers to those will make the choice very clear:-

 Q: Who of the above is the most educated.
 A: Dr. Ajoy Kumar (MBBS, IPS, MBA )

 Q: Who of the above has the best proven record ?
 A: Dr. Ajoy Kumar, he has definitely proved himself in his just 2 years of term as SP,     Jamshedpur.

So, the obvious choice for us is : Dr. Ajoy Kumar
