In the present political scenario of our state and country it is inevitable to hear about scandals and scams every now & then, we hear about corrupt politician’s every day. We all understand and realize that there is a need for educated and responsible people to come up as politicians. It is very fortunate for the people of Jamshedpur that a person like Dr. Ajoy Kumar decided to contest as a MP.
Here is a brief summary of the visions of Dr Ajoy Kumar.
1. Focus on health: As all of us know, the condition of the Govt. hospital is beyond imagination. Being a Doctor and having visited many Govt. hospitals in other parts of the country, it will be one of my top priorities to see that there is a drastic improvement in the facility and the poor and needed are being given proper treatment. Will also focus on developing small dispensary and clinics in rural areas.
2. Higher education: There is no doubt that Jamshedpur has very good schools till 10 +2, but there is a huge need for institutions to provide higher education. This absence parents have to send kids to other cities like Pune, Bangalore etc. which turns out to be very expensive. Dr. Ajoy plans to look into the possibilities and work towards developing a hub for Higher Education so that the kids can continue their education in Jamshedpur itself.
3. Cleanliness and sanitation: Dr. Ajoy strongly believes, and the citizens of Jamshedpur also feel that there is much to be done as far as cleanliness and sanitation is concerned. There are some things that can be achieved by bringing awareness in the society and adding a little effort and being a little more organized, like managing the problem of use of polythene bags and their disposal.
4. Conservation of water and rain water harvesting: This is another area which in Dr. Ajoy’s opinion needs immediate attention. Need for rain water harvesting is increasing day by day and efforts of the present administration are not adequate by any means. Dr. Ajoy intends to start working on this issue on a high priority basis. He also strongly feels that there is a huge need of ponds in suburban villages for obvious reasons.
5. Drinking water: We all know that there is a huge water crises in and around Jamshedpur, which needs to be focused on and immediate action is required. Efforts to solve this problem will also be a high priority goal for Dr. Ajoy as a MP representing Jamshedpur.
As we all understand that there will be many other issues which will need to be taken care of as and when they come up. Being an organized and hard working personality, it is will not be too difficult to tackle multiple issues concurrently.
